We’re so glad you’re here. We’re thrilled to be celebrating at one of our favorite places—McMenamins Edgefield—a captivating compound hotel which holds extra special memories for us. Our hope is to make the wedding a weekend-long celebration so we can spend more time with out-of-town guests and everyone we love. The weekend begins Friday, 8/20/2027, at 4:00 PM with a welcome/rehearsal dinner, continues with the main event on Saturday, and wraps up with a goodbye breakfast Sunday morning. We’d love for you to stay both nights, but we completely understand if you can only join us for part of the weekend. We’re so grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family — thank you for being part of this time with us. Keep in mind, more information will be added and timelines may shift slightly as the date approaches. If you hope to stay at McMenamins for the night/weekend, we highly recommend booking as early as possible, as they book up quickly in the summer months. Most of you will be driving down from the Seattle/Tacoma area, a 2.5-3 hour drive without traffic. For those who are only able to join us for the evening, the ceremony will be starting later in the day so you should have plenty of time to travel. Friends and family joining us from Michigan, the easiest airport to fly into is PDX. A quick 15 minute drive to Edgefield, or 20 minutes to downtown Portland. If you prefer not to rent a car, rideshares like Lyft and Uber are widely available and make getting around easy.

Accommodation Options

The location of the main event! Historic Edgefield, built in 1911 as the county poor farm, is a destination resort in the Pacific Northwest: original buildings restored with cozy interiors, gardens grown using organic methods, great food and drink, live entertainment and more. At the mouth of the spectacular Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area, Edgefield is a 20-minute drive to or from the center of downtown Portland and about 15 minutes from Portland International Airport. Wander about the beautiful gardens, have a look at extensive artwork on walls, pipes and more, pick up souvenirs in the gift shop, visit the winery, and so much more.Rion and Tori have blocked and reserved a handful of rooms for our guests able to stay here at Edgefield. If you wish to stay on site with us, please book sooner rather than later as these rooms will be released to the public 45 days before the wedding and weekends are frequently sold out months in advance. Keep in mind when booking, this is an old building, most rooms do not have a private bathroom. There are multiple private, common bathrooms conveniently located throughout the hotel for rooms without. Rooms also do not have TVs, that's part of the charm here! So keep that in mind for yourself or little ones. Please contact Tori with questions or if you are having any issues finding a room here and we will do our best to help you.

For guests looking for rooms with more amenities but still close by, Holiday Inn Express is a good option. A quick five minute drive to McMenamins Edgefield this hotel features a terrace, a fitness center, air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The hotel has an indoor pool, hot tub and a shared lounge. The rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Everything you really need is here at McMenamins! It's why we love it so much. On our first visit we extended our stay because we simply were not ready to leave. Things to do at Edgefield: Eat!-Black Rabbit Restaurant &amp; Bar - Edgefield's more formal restaurant located in the main lodge. The Black Rabbit’s chefs use seasonal ingredients from Edgefield's own garden – herbs, vegetables, fruits and flowers – grown using organic methods.-Power Station Pub - Edgefield's casual dining pub is located in a building next to the main hotel and is open for lunch &amp; dinner. In the summer months the Power Station expands outdoors to create The Loading Dock Grill. Drink!-Lucky Staehly's Pool Hall - Located downstairs in the main lodge Lucky Staehly's has five pool tables, dart boards, pinball machines, three shuffle boards, four televisions and a juke box.-Distillery Bar - Adjacent to Edgefield's own distillery, taste handcrafted whiskey, brandies, and gin.-Winery Tasting Room - Adventure down to the winery to taste Edgefield's own wines and ciders. Order a flight, glass, or bottle.-Tiny Bars - Located around the property there are four of the cutest, smallest bars we've ever seen. See if you can find them all. Tour the property! Take a guided tour of Edgefield's facilities and properties. Tours offered include Winery, Distillery, Gardens, and History &amp; Art. Watch a Movie! Seriously. They have a movie theater. Located in The Power Station you can watch a newly released movie. Soak! If you are able to stay on property they have a relaxing, heated saltwater soaking pool. A bar is located right next to the pool. Float and drink at the same time. Go to the Spa! - Make an appointment at Ruby's Spa for a manicure, pedicure, massage, and more. Golf! - On their two par-3 Pub Courses (20 holes &amp; 9 holes) meander throughout the Edgefield property, winding in and around thickets of blackberry bushes, all the while offering panoramic views of the Columbia River Gorge while you work on your short game. Holes vary from 43 to 84 yards in length.

-Multnomah Falls is the number-one scenic attraction in Oregon. This beautiful year-round waterfall offers excellent photo opportunities, as well as a series of easy-to-difficult hikes, just twenty minutes east of Edgefield. -Nearby Mount Hood offers skiing, snowboarding, hiking and more 365 days a year. -Shop. The <a href="http://shopcolumbiagorgeoutlets.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Columbia Gorge Premium Outlets</a> beckon, just a mile away from Edgefield. -Visit downtown Portland to experience the bustling city, all the food trucks, and a good time.

Just a small town girl in a big city in need of a friend during a difficult time, she found Rion. They were work buddies but Rion showed up for her with kindness, protection, and strength. In him, she discovered what it felt like to be supported and cared for.Slowly, she fell in love and their friendship grew alongside it. On a foundation of soup dumplings and tequila, together, they built a life—one shaped by challenges, personal growth, and a love deeper than either of them ever imagined. She can't wait to say "I do".

Her Side

Just an easy going boy living a simple life tending bar and being a father. He wasn't exactly sure what it was he was looking for but he knew he was missing something. Knew that there was more but struggled to find motivation; until he met Tori. A light emerged in his life he hadn't known before.A friendship became a relationship became his everything. Something in her made him see something in himself, and through the challenges and changes they both came out as a team, stronger than ever. He can't wait to say "I do".
